Bloggers Christmas Beauty Brawl: Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush Review

Welcome to the ninth review of the Bloggers Christmas Beauty Brawl! We're in the final stretch, here. For the past eight days and the next two days (including today), three other bloggers and I will be reviewing ten products each, from the same categories, by the same standards. We'll honestly review and score all of our purchases, and at the end of the ten days whichever blogger chose the best products (has the highest score) will win a prize. Fun for both of us: reviews for you, prezzies for me (I hope!).

Today we're reviewing our choices for blush, and this was good for me to have to do because apparently I don't usually purchase blush from the drugstore. All of my blushes are high-end or Birchbox/Ipsy samples! So for this review I chose Neutrogena Healthy Skin blush.

Day nine of the #bxbeautybrawl is blush, and I've chosen Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blush. Click through for my review! Bloggers Christmas Beauty Brawl: ten days, ten products, ten reviews.

I think it's pretty obvious why I was drawn to this blush. Look at how simple and beautiful the packaging is! No dinky little "blush brush" (does anyone actually use those?), no unnecessary extra plastic, and a case that beautifully features the color. My eyes were drawn to this blush immediately. The case screams "clean and simple," just like Neutrogena.

To really just sum it up for you, I love this blush. I tried it with a couple of different brushes, and I was pleased every single time. Drugstore blushes are known to not be very pigmented, but this one was the perfect amount of pigmentation. You don't have to load a ton of it on the brush or do a million layers to keep it lasting all day.

It blends very easily, which is key for blush so you don't look like you have clown face! I applied with my blush brush and blended with my powder brush. Perfection.

What else can you look for in a blush? Beautiful packaging, great pigmentation and blending... and it comes in five great colors (I chose "Flushed"). Plus, at $7.99 it's completely affordable and will likely last you a very long time.
